The Loss of R.M.S. Titanic

A hydraulic reconstruction of the night of 14–15 April 1912. Six slits, barely twelve square feet in all, flood sixteen watertight compartments in cascade; the hull girder fails at a fifteen-degree trim; and the stern, sealed full of air, implodes on its way to the abyssal plain, 3,784 metres down.
